Motor Carrier(s)

Note 2 Self, LLC proudly partners with motor carriers (a company or individual) that operates commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) to transport goods or hazardous materials for compensation. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMVs): These include vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) or gross combination weight rating (GCWR) of 10,001 pounds or more, vehicles designed to transport more than 8 passengers (including the driver) for compensation, or vehicles used to transport hazardous materials in quantities requiring placarding

  • Regulation: Motor carriers are regulated by federal and state authorities to ensure safety and compliance with transportation laws

  • Types of Services: They can provide various services, including freight transportation, passenger transport, and specialized hauling of hazardous materials
